Banned from the Bible...
I believe one should have a personal relationship with God. With something as important ans your eternal soul...you should do the work! Study theology from many sources and make up your own mind...
That said, I have watched a number of VERY INTERESTING series of shows on the history channel. The series is "Banned from the Bible". All I can say is that this is precisely why I think it is important to do research and not just blindly follow all those "shepherds" and "false profits"
"For many of the faithful, the idea smacks of heresy. But the Bible we know is
just one of many versions that surely circulated in the early days of Christianity. Even fully-fledged books were left out of the "final draft."In this single collection, THE HISTORY CHANNEL® has gathered a definitive survey of these "extracanonical" texts.Learn of their creation alongside - or even before - the more accepted books of the Bible we know today. Discover their messages and what we can conclude about the early Church from their exclusion. And see the lengths to which ancient editors went to hide them and to which modern scholars have gone to uncover them. This documentary series comprises over three hours of eye-opening information that vastly expands our knowledge of the Bible's creation."
Passion...
The passion flower is one of my favorite flowers and the legend goes that it symbolizes the "Passion" of our Lord.
The Passion refers to the events of suffering that Jesus had to endure leading to his crucifixion.
"Legend has it that in 1620 a Jesuit Priest came across the plant we now know as passion flower. Enthralled with its beauty, that night he had a vision likening its floral parts to the elements of the Crucifixion or Passion of Christ."
The 3 pistils: The 3 nails (Stigma) places in Christ's hands and feet during the Crucifixion
The 5 anthers: The 5 wounds in Christ's body
The corona filaments: The Crown of thorns placed on Christ's head
10 petals: 10 faithful Apostles
(Peter became their leader, and Judas had betrayed Jesus [according to the canon])

Uh Oh!
Here is the scoring...
Your Score Lust Scale Prognosis
90-100 You are on the road to moral purity, unswayed by sins of the flesh. However, the fact that you were interested in the Sin Test indicates you may still be inappropriately tempted by Lust. Be careful.
70-80 Temptation has lodged like a bullet in your otherwise-healthy heart. You must resist it or risk your eternal soul! As penance, masturbate to the point of orgasm and then think about your grandparents naked and visibly sexually aroused.
50-70 You have befouled the temple of your body with your Lustful ways. Your spouse-swapping, meat-beating, porn-ogling depravity is like a sickness. There is little hope for you unless you renounce your past and start a new life under an assumed identity.
Below 50 You are perverse and disgusting. Send a picture of yourself naked to seven@deadlysins.com.
only a 30...I think maybe these angels aren't helping me much HAHA
Go to their site and see how you do!
Angels Everywhere...
I was in Michael's today looking for some paint for a sailboat coat hook I got for $1. I was going to paint it for Zane's bedroom when I came accross an angel, and since I carry my camera daily for my 365 blog project... the photo above is what we get!
I have some others too, I will be posting them here and there.

This Angel was given to me while I was pregnant. I was hospitalized with a rare pregnancy related disease, Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG). My "sister" Pamela came to see me in the hospital one night and she gave me this Angel to watch over me!
The next few are photos I took, obviously Jenifer is a way better photographer (LOL)

The Angel Project...
The Angel Project:
I love Angels, I just think they are very beautiful. So I started a blog, although I am not into "organized religion" it does have a little bit of a religious overtone.
It will dabble some into Angels and what they have meant throughout history, but mostly I wanted to showcase my Angels through photography.
I have a small collection of some very beautiful Angels. Some were given to me and others I have given myself! LOL My newest is a gorgeous angel I picked up at a Goodwill store. She is carved wood with wire wings... she is the first Angel on this new blog!
Some of the photography is from my "sister" Jenifer. I am hoping she'll be a contributer for this blog (lol) we'll see since like me she has at least half a dozen others! HAHA
